With the Quicktest Uric Acid Test (Urate), you can keep track of your uric acid levels. You can easily do the test at home and get the answer right away. The uric acid test is not only simple, it is also very reliable. With the Quicktest X6, your uric acid levels are measured with high precision. High urate levels can occur with high alcohol and/or fat intake. Other causes can also cause a high value. This in turn can lead to gout, among other things, but also certain kidney problems can occur. Gout is an inflammatory condition that is often painful, it is especially common to experience joint pain. Your urate levels are measured in mmol/L.L. Test and you'll know! Everything is included to perform 5 uric acid tests; 5 Urate strips, 6 lancets (one extra) and Quicktest X6.

Recommendation

Perform the test after approximately 12 hours of fasting, i.e. in the morning before breakfast. Then perform the test at approximately the same time and under the same conditions (fasting) on subsequent tests. Otherwise, the results may vary. How do I troubleshoot the device when it is not working?

Here we list the most common error codes that may occur with Multitest X6:

E-b : Battery power is too low - Replace the batteries immediately
E-U : A used test strip has been inserted into the meter - Repeat the measurement with a new test strip
E-2 : The strip/code chip has expired - Make sure the date set on the meter is correct. Check the expiration date on the package. If the problem persists during your blood test, repeat with a new code chip.
E-t : The ambient temperature is above or below the system's operating range - Repeat the test once both the meter and test strip are within the recommended temperature range to obtain accurate results.
E-0/E-A/E-E/E-C : Meter problem - Repeat the test with a new test strip. If the meter still does not work, contact us for help.
E-F : The test strip was removed during the analysis countdown or the blood volume was insufficient - See the instructions and repeat the test with a new strip. If the problem persists, contact us for help.
E-8 : The code chip was not inserted far enough before testing - Check that the code chip has been inserted correctly for proper coding. Make sure the code chip you are using measures the correct blood parameter. If the problem persists, contact us for help.
