Do you feel tired or suffer from stress and anxiety? The thyroid affects more than you might think. It controls important functions, both mental and physical. When production is too high, the body goes into overdrive and the result can be palpitations, dizziness, increased appetite, weight gain, tremors and disturbed sleep.
If production is too low, you get the opposite symptoms, including weight gain, fatigue, feeling cold and constipation. Normally functioning thyroid hormone production is therefore crucial for optimal health. With our thyroid tests, you take control of your own health and receive reliable, convenient and fast answers.

Thyroid test - TSH
T4 is a substance formed from the amino acid tyrosine and iodine. It is a prohormone of the hormone T3 (triiodothyronine). The substance is produced in the thyroid gland, from where it is transported by the blood to the cells of the body. Analysis of T4, in combination with TSH and T3, usually provides reliable answers as to whether the thyroid is producing too little hormone.
The pituitary hormone TSH regulates hormones that control the body's metabolism. If overproduction occurs, the body becomes "overheated" and responds with a rapid pulse, sweating, weight loss and poor sleep.

You can easily order the tests here at quicktest.se and pay at checkout. We deliver as early as the next day if it is a weekday. You then take the test at home in peace and quiet. Detailed instructions for use in Swedish are always included with our tests. Our CE-approved thyroid test is used in healthcare, among other settings, and is considered very reliable, with an accuracy of approximately 95.5%. If your thyroid test shows abnormal levels, contact your primary care doctor for further investigation.
It should be remembered that thyroid analyses are often complex by nature and may need to be supplemented with other analyses, for example of the adrenal glands, to rule out other possible causes. If you suffer from fatigue, listlessness, dizziness or unexplained weight fluctuations, it is a good idea to take a thyroid test to rule out a thyroid hormone disorder. These supplementary examinations are performed by doctors or specialists.
